In partnership with Clif Family, Eagle Cycling Club leads one Sunday ride per month between March and October that begins and ends at the Clif Family Tasting Room, 709 Main Street in St Helena. All rides roll promptly at 9:00am. Helmets are required. All non-Eagle Cycling Club members are required to sign a liability waiver.
Leaving Clif Family, we will take Charter Oak and Pope St to the Silverado Trail, turn left and continue to Deer Park Rd, turn right, then left again on Sanitarium Rd, left on Crystal Springs Rd, which takes us back to the Silverado Trail. We will turn right, then turn left on Dunaweal Lane, then right onto the Dunaweal Lane-Washington St bike path, follow Washington St into Calistoga, turn right on Oak St, left on Grant St/Myrtledale Rd, right on Tubbs lane, right on Hwy 29, then left onto the Lawley Toll Rd. Before Hwy 29, this toll road was originally the main road from Calistoga to Lake County. We will ride flat for about a mile, then climb 1,000 feet over the next three miles to the end of the toll road on Hwy 29 high on the shoulder of Mt St Helena. From there, we will descend on Hwy 29 and turn right on Tubbs Lane, left on Myrtledale/Grant St, right on Oak St, left on Washington St and back to the Washington St-Dunaweal Lane bike path, turn left on Dunaweal Lane, right on the Silverado Trail, and right on Pope St for the return to Clif Family Vino. This ride is about 35 miles with about 2,250 feet of climbing. For more information contact Doug Pettie at 415-747-6965 or email@example.com.
