PARKING

There is no charge for parking if you enter through the west gate (1/4 mile before the main entrance to the park). Parking fee $5.00 if entering through the main gate.

 

DIRECTIONS:

  • Skyline Park 2201 Imola Avenue Napa, CA 94558

  • From 101, take highway 37 east to 29 in Vallejo, North on 29 to Napa, bear right at Lake Berryessa exit to Imola Avenue, Right on Imola, one mile to park.

  • From East Bay take 80 east to highway 37/Napa exit, take 37 to 29, north on 29 to Napa, bear right at Lake Berryessa exit to Imola Avenue, right on Imola.

  • From Sacramento, take 80 west to highway 12/Napa exit, take 12 to 29, north on 29 to Napa, bear right at Lake Berryessa exit to Imola Avenue, right on Imola.

CAMPING

Skyline Park has overnight camping available for tents and R.V.'s. For information on camping, call the park at 707-252-0481.

Skyline Park Mountain Bike Race

Race #3 in the 2011 Sierra Cup Regional Championships Series for Northern California/Nevada

 

Eagle Cycling Club and the Eagle Racing Team are proud to present the Skyline Park Mountain Bike Race on Sunday, June 12th at Skyline Park in Napa, CA.  Racing on trails that have hosted events such as the UCI World Cup and the Single Speed World Championships, this event is part of the USA Cycling Regional Championship Series and can qualify riders for the 2011 MTB Nationals at Sun Valley, ID in July.

 

This event is a fund-raiser for the Skyline Park Trail System. All profits are donated to the Park which is a non-profit organization.

REGISTRATION

  • $35.00 fee to pre-register online at www.bikereg.com ($20 for Women and Juniors).
  • Online pre-reg closes at 8pm Pacific Time on Wednesday 6/8.
  • $10 late fee for day-of registration.
  • Race Day Registration opens at 7:30 am and closes at 9:30 am.
  • 2011 USA Cycling Racing License required. If you do not have a license, a One-day license may be purchased at registration for $5 (not available for the Cat 1/Pro

RACE TIME:

  • 9:50 am racers meeting
  • 10:00 am race start. Category Waves at 1 minute intervals
  • Lunch served from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm
  • 1:30pm awards under the shade of the oak trees
  • 2:00 pm raffle for all racers

RACE SPECIFICS

  • 400 Racer limit
  • 5 riders to make a class, some small classes may be combined
  • Race is held under USA Cycling  permit and insurance
  • Riders must wear approved helmets at all times in the park
  • First Aid available

COURSE

A fun, demanding and challenging course. Approximately 8.5 mile lap, 80% single track. Uses parts of the 1999 World Cup course. Number of laps to be determined by category.

 

RACE DETAILS:

  • Lunch will be provided to all racers. Check online registration for a list of all categories and age groups.
  • Helmets required at all times in the park.
  • Five riders to make a class, smaller classes may be combined.
    Medals to three places in all categories.
  • $300 Pro/Cat 1 purse for fastest times.
  • Race is a 2011 Nationals Qualifier.
  • Points awarded in the Sierra Cup Regional Championship Series for Northern California/Nevada.  $1500 cash series purse and USAC Regional Champions determined.
